Badri Dasu
Chief Engineering Officer
Prior to joining Talphera, Mr. Dasu served as Vice President of Medical Device Engineering at Anesiva, Inc., and as Vice President of Manufacturing and Device Development at AlgoRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pain management company that merged with Corgentech, Inc., in December 2005.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Dasu served as Vice President of Manufacturing and Process Development at PowderJect Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Chiron Corporation in 2003. He has also held positions in process development at Metrika Inc., which was acquired by Bayer HealthCare, LLC, in 2006, and at Cygnus, Inc., a drug-delivery and specialty pharmaceutical company.
Mr. Dasu holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical engineering from the University of Mangalore, India, and a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tulsa.
